Sergio Chinelli qualified with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (2002) and a Bachelor of Architecture (2004) from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. In 2004 he founded Sergio Chinelli Architects and in 2006 he registered as a professional architect with SACAP (The South African Council for the Architectural profession). Sergio has over 19 years’ experience specialising in bespoke residential architecture. He continues to push the design envelope in an attempt to produce the very best modern contemporary South African architecture in beautiful locations where the objective is for the architecture to engage with the natural environment. Sergio is a member of SAIA (The South African Instuture of Architects) and GIFA (The Gauteng Institute for Architecture).
