This single storey house stretches across the site from boundary to boundary, prioritising the breathtaking dam views. There are two main horizontal strips that define the house. The street facing strip is built into the ground with a stone retaining wall, defining a strong horizontal axis. The dam facing strip is elevated on steel columns, allowing the house to follow the site’s contours seamlessly. This creates a beautiful viewing platform while minimizing internal steps.
